London, February 5th 2008 -- Installing two IKON CPP650 digital colour print engines has improved performance and profits for a busy print bureau in Leeds city centre. The solution was recommended by IKON’s dedicated Production and Graphic Arts team, and has given Colour Copy the capability to produce up to 8,000 A4 prints per hour.

Consistent results ensure that every print is identical in terms of quality and colour matching. This guarantees satisfaction for repeat customers, allowing the popular print bureau to excel at meeting demand for high volume, digital colour work said Richard Watkiss, Technical Director at Colour Copy: “We specialise in Mission Impossible. Three months after the print engines arrived, not one paper jam had been experienced by Colour Copy, where challenging jobs often involve heavier paper weights and double sided (duplex) printing. This benefit alone has improved productivity and the business’ profit margin by reducing the number of wasted prints (spoils). IKON’s on-site, one-to-one training has instilled further confidence in the new printing system for key operators.
