London, March 25th 2008 --
IKON Office Solutions (UK), a leading provider of document technology and services, has been re-appointed as one of 3 successful suppliers on the Devon County Council (DCC) Multi Functional Devices framework agreement.
The 3-year contract offers Devon County Council and all qualifying publicly funded bodies and registered charities in the UK, an opportunity to take advantage of fixed, preferential pricing from March 2008.
As an independent solutions provider, IKON offers quality equipment in the right price range, as well as a host of printing and technical support services. IKON is also the sole supplier of Canon and Ricoh equipment, operating under the DCC Framework.
The DCC framework agreement award continues IKON’s recent success in the public sector marketplace. This includes winning the Higher Education and OGCbuying.solutions framework agreements to supply Higher and Further Education organisations, research councils, and public-funded bodies throughout the UK. IKON’s Director of Government Sales, Neil Mellon, says: “Now that we’ve been re-appointed as a DCC supplier, IKON can continue providing its entire range of technology services and software in-house, to public sector organisations and registered charities across the UK.”
