Seamlessly integrating into your Windows® NT, Novell® Netware® or UNIX® print server-based network, Equitrac is a powerful tool enabling you to manage your print infrastructure organisation-wide. Equitrac offers a holistic solution, supporting network devices and those that are connected directly to the client’s PC via parallel port. In addition, Equitrac also facilitates monitoring and reporting for some counter-based devices such as photocopiers and facsimile machines.

Printer Cost Management	A very sophisticated and accurate page counting technology that yields impressive detailed results. The page counter tracks output whether you print in colour, on multiple media sizes and types or apply advanced paper handling functions etc. This means you obtain a complete and accurate report on every single print job done in your office. Moreover, the software allows you to divide the printer usage reports by user or client.
Secure Document Release	Enhances the safety of network printing environments by preventing unauthorised users from picking up or viewing other users’ documents at unattended printers. SDR holds incoming network print jobs at the security print server. The print job is released by using the Network Transaction Station with a PIN or magnetic card.
Rules Based Printing	Enables you to set rules for printing for a user or a group of users to enforce a document strategy. You can, for instance, set priorities in the queue manager, hold, or delete a print job generated by a user/group of users. Rules based printing can help prevent documents being printed to inappropriate devices.
Dedicated Charging	Depending on the requirements of your office, you can allocate the charges according to print quotas, timed quotas, users/departments, and/or bill according to client or project.
