EFI Digital StoreFront provides a simple interface that allows print customers to submit files from their PC or network, view PDF proofs of their documents and select job specifications—24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once all customer and job information is entered, Digital StoreFront creates a job ticket and the file is automatically converted into a PDF file and routed to the appropriate output device without operator intervention (or held for scheduling if so desired). File conversions, quotes, PDF proofs, electronic job tickets and invoices are all generated automatically. Device utilization is optimized through improved ability to view, manage and schedule print jobs, increasing the capacity of existing equipment. Billing information can be automatically routed to internal accounting systems to ensure accuracy. And automatic email alerts let customers know the status of their jobs.
